Germany pavilion partners with The BIG Show 2013
Muscat, Oman, December 12, 2012 -- A UFI-approved event, The BIG Show, which pioneered the building, construction, housing, and infrastructure shows in the Sultanate, is scheduled to be held from March 17 to 20, 2013. Formerly a three-day event, its tenth edition is now a four-day show, in response to previous exhibitors and other companies’ need to leverage the opportunities presented by this landmark show.
For the second time since 2012, The BIG Show has enlisted the support and participation of a Germany pavilion. The participation of Germany as a pavilion is a first for any event so far in Oman. The German companies represent the building and construction materials and equipment, interior solutions, industrial products and supplies, and architectural materials segments.
Apart from the major exhibits of bathroom, kitchen products and equipment, building materials, concrete and cement products, eco-friendly building products, home decor and furnishing, The BIG Show will concurrentlyhold a two-day conference from March 18 to 19. The conference will focus on safety in construction sites, concrete durability, and sustainable environment and will have as themes “Durability in Concrete and Alternatives” and “Green Initiatives to Building a Better Environment.”
To date, several country pavilions such as Austria, Germany, India, Italy, Jordan, Russia, Taiwan,
Turkey and the UAE have declared their participation in the exhibition.
“The building and construction is growing at a fast rate, and we are seeing a high percentage rate growth which will continue for the next four years.
